  1. Two days in a row?! I think you might be training a little too hard. You look a little pale and I think I detect a slight limp. You should probably ease up for a few weeks & let your body get some well-deserved rest. Be sure to get plenty of protein in your diet - ice cream's good.

    30 years and you're still playing the same loop tape? Yikes! Hey if it rests your mind at ease Herb has asked me to train with him in Terry's absence. Today we did 5 x Cowles in 12 minutes with a 8 minute recovery on the downhills. Tomorrow the hard training starts (sand dunes at Portsea followed by a single day Mojave crossing -- you know, the usual). And while it's true our vikeden stores are running low, we've still got a butload of percoset.
    My horse will be ready by June.

  3. Since only two people in the world will actually know which of you shuts down the race course, I would strongly reconsider your training efforts and do whatever it takes to avoid injury. Don't forget how old you guys are.
